Programme Summary
At the Great School Trust, we believe in the power of collaboration to enhance professional development. Our cross-trust networks provide bespoke CPD opportunities for staff to connect, share knowledge, and strengthen their skills. These networks include:
Cross-Trust Subject Leads
We view each subject as a distinct discipline, making subject-specific support essential. Our Cross-Trust Subject Leads foster collaboration across the trust, helping subject departments network and improve their practice through shared expertise and innovative strategies.
SEND Alliance
This alliance, made up of SENCOs and SEND leaders, focuses on enhancing support for students with special educational needs by examining best practices globally. It provides CPD for statutory duties, legal support, and practical strategies to ensure all students receive the support they need to thrive.
QA Alliance
Our QA Alliance is a peer network of senior leaders dedicated to improving quality assurance practices. This group creates a safe environment for evaluation, encouraging honest feedback and continuous improvement to maintain high standards across the trust.
DSL Network
This network supports and develops safeguarding leaders within the trust. It is crucial for creating a wider support network and links for our Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSLs), ensuring robust safeguarding practices and fostering a culture of safety and wellbeing for all staff and pupils.
At Great Schools Trust, we firmly believe that we are greater together than the sum of our parts.
